And click here for the link to get tickets and festival passes. A few of us will also be hanging out at the opening ceremony at the Westin nearby, but I’m not certain if that’s open to the public or not – or if there’s an admission fee either.

We’ll see you at the screening!

Dances with Films & WMMFest

Kendall, Ian, Darrow, Joe and i, along with some significant others and a number of We Make Movies regulars, watched the film in 4K on a big screen at TCL Chinese Theatres last Saturday. it was amazing to see the film at that resolution – really incredible. to see that watch at the end immediately clear like that (once you see the movie, you’ll know what i mean) kinda made me mentally high-five myself. of course the very next day i got sick as a dog and haven’t been able to make it back to Dances With Films since. it’s looking like i’ll be back to normal just in time for the closing night party on Sunday night. =/

next up is WMMFest at the Hollywood Fringe. we have two screenings there, both at 3 Clubs at 1123 Vine Street in the heart of Hollywood’s Theatre District, just north of Santa Monica Blvd. the first is on Wednesday, June 18th at 8pm and the second on Friday, June 27th also at 8pm. 3 Clubs is a bar so unfortunately only people 21 years of age and older can attend, but we’re still up for a few more festivals, some not announcing until fall or even winter, so stay tuned here and we’ll keep you up to date.

North American premiere & playing in 4k!

last night i dropped off the 4k DCP to Karim at Dances With Films. i sure hope it works. our screening is only about 20 hours from the posting of this article. i can’t wait to see it in 4K.

attended just a moment of the opening night party last night and ran into Maureen Mayer from “Druid Peak“. i met her at BIFF on Monday, so it felt odd to see her thousands of miles away on my home turf. she and her husband are very nice and i look forward to finally seeing her film in DWF.

best short film at Big Island Film Festival!

Best Short @ BIFF

we just left the awards banquet at Big Island Film Festival with the Best Short Award. we were surprised and honored and are all so grateful to Jan & Leo Sears, the wonderful couple who run BIFF and to the cast and crew of Tuesday Morning. thanks to everybody who worked on this film and to everybody who makes BIFF possible. it’s such an excellent film festival and we loved being a part of it yet again.

we’re particularly ecstatic to have received such an honor from the very first film festival that we’ve attended! BIFF has been our World Premiere! don’t forget to check us out next Saturday (May 31st, 2014) 12:30pm at Dances With Films where we’ll be screening in 4k. =)

fourth film festival acceptance!

Dances With Filmsjust found out today that we’ve been accepted into the 2014 Dances With Films. with the Big Island film festival, NYC International and WMMFest, that makes four festivals who’ve accepted our film. we unfortunately had to pull out from NYC Int’l at the last minute, but we were still an official selection, and the programmer was very gracious about it all.

i just posted a few bios and headshots and will add more developments here as they occur. thanks for your interest & support!
